Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Mission Youth app, operated by Versify Interactive ("we," "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse. Mission Youth is a safe space for church youth groups. There is no tolerance for objectionable content, harassment, or abusive behavior. Content and users that violate these Terms will be removed, and we respond to reports within 24 hours.

Who can use Mission Youth

The app is for members of participating church youth groups. Students do not sign themselves up — a youth leader invites a parent, and a parent creates and consents to their child's account. By creating an account you confirm you have the authority to do so (as a leader, or as a parent or legal guardian of the child you enroll).

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private; you're responsible for activity under your account.
Provide accurate information, and keep it current.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting a leader account also deletes that youth group and its members' data; deleting a parent account deletes that parent's children's accounts and data.

Acceptable use

You agree not to post, share, or do any of the following:

Objectionable, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, or violent content.
Bullying, abuse, or targeting of any person, especially minors.
Spam, impersonation, or content that isn't yours to share.
Anything illegal, or that violates another person's rights or privacy.
Attempts to disrupt, hack, or misuse the app or other users' accounts.

User content, reporting & blocking

You're responsible for the content you post (such as prayer requests), and you keep ownership of it while granting us permission to display it within your youth group so the app can work. You must only post content you have the right to share.

Every user can report content they find objectionable and block another user to immediately stop seeing their content. Reports go to the group's leaders and to us for review, and we remove violating content and may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms.

Virtual items

"XP," "gold," badges, and shop rewards have no real-world monetary value, can't be exchanged for cash, and may be adjusted or reset (for example, at the start of a new season). They exist only inside the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or put others at risk.

Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Versify Interactive is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
